DANIEL FARKE was crying out for a first win of the season to ease the tension at Carrow Road.

And the Norwich boss got it thanks to late goals from front-runner Teemu Pukki and Alexander Tettey (left).

Flying Finn Pukki struck in the 80th minute when he took a pass from Jamal Lewis before firing across Preston‘s ex-City keeper Declan Rudd.

Tettey thumped home three minutes from time after a partially-cleared corner.

Defeat was rough on Preston with lively Louis Moult twice going close, only to be denied by in-form home keeper Tim Krul.
