Estranged wife steps in after star’s binge with model

A BLEARY-EYED Ben Affleck is driven to rehab by his ex, after he went on a three-day booze bender with a Playboy model.
His estranged wife Jennifer Garner turned up at the actor’s home with a bible and a lawyer following his binge with Shauna Sexton. She then took Batman star Affleck, 46, to a live-in facility – his third stint in rehab– after begging him to get help. He is said to have fallen off the wagon “a while ago”, and has got “progressively worse”. Witnesses said Garner, also 46, arrived at Affleck’s £15million home in LA on Wednesday. She was later seen driving the dishevelled star away. According to US reports, double Oscar winner Affleck did not fight the intervention and recognised that he needed help.
His admission to The Canyon facility in Malibu, California, came days after he skipped Garner’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony to party with Sexton, 22.
On Monday, Affleck received a delivery of alcohol – which appeared to be whisky – at his home in the middle of the day.
Sexton, Playboy’s Playmate in May, recently told the magazine that her go-to
drink is “whisky, all day.” His fling with the model comes amid reports he split from Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus, 38, after three years. Garner and Affleck broke up in 2015 amid claims he had an affair. They are parents to Violet, 12, Seraphina, nine, and Samuel, six. Garner is said to have “read him the riot act” recently, telling him to get clean for their children. Their divorce has stalled in the courts. An LA judge this month threatened to dismiss their case as they had not filed the proper paperwork. Affleck last year revealed he had been to rehab. He wrote on Facebook: “I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I’ve dealt with in the past and will continue to confront. “I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids.”
