Postmortem doc’s ‘errors’
PROBE Dr Khalid Ahmed A DOCTOR who carried out postmortems gave an “incorrect” cause of death in some cases, a review is understood to have found.
Dr Khalid Ahmed did postmortem examinations for north Manchester coroner’s office.
A review of 38 of his examinations is thought to have found “multiple and significant deficiencies”.
A police investigation is now under way and some inquests have been put on hold by the coroner.
