FULHAM wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon will get an England audition in front of Gareth Southgate.

England boss Southgate will be at Fulham’s clash with Burnley tomorrow to spy on the 18-year-old as he prepares on Thursday to name his first squad since the World Cup. Sessegnon (left) might have to wait for his first senior call-up but his progress is being monitored.

Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic wants captain Tom Cairney to become as influential in the Premier as he was in the Championship.

Cairney is one of only two survivors from Jokanovic’s first game in charge at Craven Cottage back in December 2015 and the Fulham chief said: “There is a great difference between Tom Cairney today and the Cairney of two-and-a-half years ago. But now he needs to push himself further to become an important player at a different level.”
