NO ONE IS PERFECT – EVEN CITY

- BY RICHARD TANNER

BERNARDO SILVA could be forgiven if he thinks he is back in Portugal today.

FROM FRONT PAGE to the title last season. Pep Guardiola’s side hit the 100-point mark, winning the title by 19 points while Wolves took the honours in the Championship. Nuno said: “I would be lying to my players if I told them that. They see things for themselves. “Who doesn’t know about Manchester City? “But what I will say to them is ‘OK, you have something that can cause problems to them so let’s exploit it’. “They are a fantastic team and have a fantastic manager, but there’s no perfection in football. No one is perfect.” He added: “We are talking about the champions so that very fact shows that they were far better than anybody else. “But we are also champions and are ready for this game. We are at home and that’s something we look to as well. “Every player in the City squad has a lot of qualities. We will be worried about everyone, not just the likes of Sergio Aguero (above), but they have to worry about us too.” The bookies do not give Wolves a prayer, some offering odds as high as 12-1 on a home win after City beat Huddersfield 6-1 last week. Nuno added: “I don’t think that’s disrespectful. “They base those figures on logic and statistics, but I don’t look at it like that. “The game starts 0-0 and we go from there. We don’t underestimate anybody, but you have to recognise high quality.”
