Off-target Fulham can finally get aim right

-

ERIC Morecambe famously argued: I’m playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.

And Fulham’s progressive boss Slavisa Jokanovic is probably repeating those words to himself.

A harsh defeat at home to Palace was followed by a brave, skilful display at Wembley when they pushed Spurs all the way.

The Fulham manager is slowly assembling the team he wants after a huge summer spree.

And on the evidence so far, Fulham are ready to show the style that their slick-passing play deserves.

Aleksandar Mitrovic is clearly a handful up front and Ryan Sessegnon looks a real prospect.

The Cottagers are surely going to hit the right notes against someone and it may be against Burnley, who have had a tiring, fractured start during their travels across Europe.

Fulham are evens with Betfred to make sweet music tomorrow.
