Teen walkers die in beauty spot cliff falls
TWO teenage walkers died in separate falls over the bank holiday weekend.
Tim Murray, 16, was found by a coastguard helicopter on Stac Pollaidh north of Ullapool, in the Scottish Highlands.
He had travelled from his home in West Yorkshire to visit the peak.
Tim’s body was recovered by Dundonnell mountain rescue team.
In North Wales, a 17-year-old lad fell from a 300ft cliff at Great Orme country park, Llandudno.
The victim, from Stockport, Greater Manchester, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Llandudno coastguard said: “The team assisted the paramedic and air ambulance but despite our best efforts we were unable to resuscitate him.”
