Gravy bouts

AAAARGGGHH! Bisto luck to this lot as they fight it out at the World Gravy Wrestling Championships.

There were thrills and spills as slippery customers sloshed about in a pool of gravy during their wacky two-minute bouts at the Rose ’n’ Bowl in Stacksteads, Lancashire.

It was a fundraiser for the East Lancashire Hospice, with awards for best fancy dress and comedy effect.
