It’s the best fun ever but I’m no Angel, says Robbie
ROBBIE Williams reckons judging The X Factor has given him a “new lease of life”.
The Angels singer, who has battled depression, said: “It’s the most fun I’ve ever had in showbusiness. I just can’t believe I’ve never done it before.”
But Robbie admitted his Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder may have made him “inhumane” when so-so singers auditioned.
He said: “You can only see so many people before something has to be amazing
to pique your interest. I’ve got ADHD and the thing that is worse than being terrible is being average.
“There’s something about seeing a lot of average, maybe you can be a bit inhumane at times.”
However Robbie, new to The X Factor panel along with his actress wife Ayda, said: “We’re auditioning too.”
The singer believes the show is the perfect opportunity for the couple. “I know what my wife is capable of,” he said. “And I know what we’re capable of together.
“So we’ve just been waiting for the right vehicle to go, ‘Check out the Williams!’”
