MO SALAH could quit international football after claiming his complaints to the Egyptian FA over an image rights dispute have been “ignored”.
Liverpool’s £37million winger was furious in April when his picture was used by a telecoms company – an official Egypt team sponsor – when he has a contract with rival Vodafone.
He also felt he was used as a political symbol during the World Cup when he was given “honorary citizenship” by Ramzan Kadyrov, the controversial Russian head of the Chechen Republic.
Salah said: “It’s normal that a football federation seeks to solve the problems of its players so they can feel comfortable.
“But in fact, what I see is exactly the opposite.”
Kop boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed why versatile Georginio Wijnaldum is keeping £40m new boy Fabinho out of the side.
