MO SALAH could quit international football after claiming his complaints to the Egyptian FA over an image rights dispute have been “ignored”.

Liverpool’s £37million winger was furious in April when his picture was used by a telecoms company – an official Egypt team sponsor – when he has a contract with rival Vodafone.

He also felt he was used as a political symbol during the World Cup when he was given “honorary citizenship” by Ramzan Kadyrov, the controversial Russian head of the Chechen Republic.

Salah said: “It’s normal that a football federation seeks to solve the problems of its players so they can feel comfortable.

“But in fact, what I see is exactly the opposite.”

Kop boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed why versatile Georginio Wijnaldum is keeping £40m new boy Fabinho out of the side.

Klopp said: “Gini can switch from one mindset to the other and that is pretty good for us.

“If you ask me, he was brilliant in pre-season as the No.8. He was good as No.6 but brilliant as the eight.

“That’s why we never had any doubts about him. He can play both.”
