I’d love Strictly to feature two cha-cha-chaps
Judge Craig on same-sex couples
CRAIG Revel Horwood says he would like to see same-sex couples on Strictly, and thinks it will happen eventually.
The judge spoke after contestant Dr Ranj Singh, 39, said he would like to dance with a man but was prevented by the BBC.
Craig, 52, said of the longrunning controversy: “I think more and more people want it, the more it will happen. I have no argument against it.
“I think it would be rather fun. Maybe the BBC will be brave enough one day to do it.”
He also defended this year’s “great” line-up – which has been branded “Z-list” by critics – and said contestants could impress him by working hard. He said: “I’ve got a 10 there that I really want to use. I find it very difficult to use sometimes but I’m going to use it this year, hopefully.” Meanwhile, contestant Seann Walsh was blasted by judge Bruno Tonioli, 62, at Monday’s launch party. Bruno told the comedian: “Are you going to be fun and entertaining? “You move like a tractor, so you can only get better.” Seann, 32, replied: “Oh my God, I’ve already been slammed and we’ve not done the show yet.”
