Guys can’t weight to pump up clients

-

Dear BIZ

Jason and I have known each other since childhood and we got together a couple of years ago to set up Studio 234, a fitness boutique studio we run in Sutton, South London.

We wanted to create something friendly, like an extended family, where people want to come along and achieve their goals while enjoying themselves – and where we both wanted to work each day.

After working in various big corporate gyms we wanted to get away from that clinical, soulless and generic offering and create something more personal, fun and social. We have a decent number of clients but wouldn’t mind getting a few more.

We are also currently working on a clothing range which will be available on our website at studio234.co.uk, along with details about the studio.

Word of mouth will be one of the best forms of advertising your business. Encourage your current clients to recommend your studio LET’S WORK IT OUT Glen and Jason to family, friends and colleagues. Maybe offer them a little incentive of a discount on their next session or a free T-shirt or other bit of kit in return for any new client they bring through the doors.

Branching out into clothing is a great way to help spread the word further afield. People like to belong to something cool and more exclusive than the huge global brands. Even those who don’t sweat it out to get fit like to wear the sporty, casual look.

So when your range is up on your website, make sure you promote it to the biggest audience possible – via social media.
