HOTSHOT LEO BACK IN GOALS
LEO BONATINI found his goal touch once again as Wolves recorded their first win of the season.
Bonatini (above) had not scored since December 4 after banging in 12 in his first 22 games last season.
But the Brazilian helped Nuno Espirito Santo’s side to victory.
Helder Costa scored a second from the penalty spot, five minutes from time, after he was felled by the Owls defender Morgan Fox.
Wolves, who made nine changes, gave a debut to Belgian Leander Dendoncker and a first start to Spaniard Adama Traore.
And it was Traore who created the opener, pulling the ball back, via a deflection off Frederik Nielsen, for Bonatini to score on 53 minutes.
Wednesday fought back, but then Costa sealed the win from the spot.
