GHEZZAL IS HIGH AND RIY
RIYAD MAHREZ’S successor Rachid Ghezzal scored a brilliant goal as he bids to fill the huge boots of his Algeria compatriot.
Leicester’s £12.5million summer buy from Monaco replaced Mahrez, who finally got his move to Manchester City for £60m.
And he took up Mahrez’s position on the right flank on his first start and cut in to curl home an exquisite left-footed 30-yarder on 71 minutes.
Left-back Christian Fuchs got the Foxes’ opener against Fleetwood from distance after eight minutes and then crossed for Vincente Iborra to head a second.
Kelechi Iheanacho (above) made it 3-0 in the 46th minute, controlling Marc Albrighton’s pass and scoring, before Ghezzal struck.
