A TROY STORY OF LOVE

TROY DEENEY claimed he has regained his love of football after losing a stone.

The Watford captain has helped the Hornets to the top of the Premier League with three consecutive wins under Javi Gracia.

Watford travel to Reading tonight and Deeney feels like a new man since turning 30 in June.

“I have got a nutritionist and I am employing different people to look after me but because of my age,” he said. “I can’t party like a rock star and still perform on the weekend.

“I have lost about a stone but more in muscle mass than actual fat. I am enjoying my football again.

“The good start is down to a good pre-season and having a bit of consistency with the manager.”
