XTRA SUPER

Honda has made some tweaks to its phenomenally excellent NSX supercar for the 2019 model year.

Most of the changes involve the chassis and suspension, with fatter anti-roll bars front and back, new settings for the adjustable dampers and stiffer bushings in the rear hubs and control-arm toe links. Honda says these changes will improve both ride and handling.

I didn’t think there was much wrong with the current car in either department, but apparently the revised one is two seconds a lap faster around the Suzuka circuit and that’s a big difference.

I’ve not seen an NSX on the road yet – which is a shame as it’s also a great looking car.
