Coleen: Anyone who knows me will say that I’m not a bully

Star on pain at Loose Women row with Kim

COLEEN Nolan wishes she could “go back in time and not do” her car-crash reunion with Kim Woodburn on Loose Women.

Some 2,900 people have signed a petition calling for ITV to axe her after the pair, who fell out in CBB last year, clashed again on Wednesday.

Kim stormed off moments after calling Coleen “trash” and a “bully” – and regulator Ofcom has had more than 3,300 complaints over the row.

But devastated panellist Coleen, who has spent years tackling bullying as the Daily Mirror’s agony aunt, last night insisted: “Anyone that knows me knows I’m not a bully.

“That would be the most hurtful thing people could call me.”

She said producers wanted the reunion and she feared fireworks.

Coleen, 53, said: “I didn’t want to do the reunion. It was the producers who said she wanted to make peace. I agreed because I was happy to draw a line under past differences.

UNPLEASANT

“From the moment she arrived, it was clear Kim didn’t want to make up. Now I wish I could go back in time and not do it. It was ugly, upsetting and unpleasant for everyone.

“Kim even had a go at Linda Robson, who is one of the nicest women I know. She hates me for a reason I will never understand.”

Janet Street Porter was dressed as a judge to mediate between the pair – but things soon became tense.

Coleen was accused of muttering under her breath as Kim, 76, cried about being bullied as child. Mics picked up: “That’s what I lived with.”

But she said: “I hadn’t heard what she was saying. I was commenting on how she was ranting, not what she was saying about her childhood.

“But it’s also unrelated to the way she abused me for eight minutes and then tells the world I attacked her.”

Coleen just wants to move on, adding: “I wish Kim well. I hate to see anyone unhappy. But I want to forget we ever met again. I will never appear on a show with her again. It is better we keep to our own paths.”

TV presenter Kim yesterday called it a “circus”. But show fans pointed out Linda tried to comfort her.

A Loose Women spokesman said: “Kim agreed to come on the understanding it was for a reconciliation with Coleen. Kim becoming upset was never the intention and the panel did endeavour to comfort her.

“She was offered counselling after the show, which she declined.”
