Choke victim ‘mistaken for Mr Cameron’
A SCHIZOPHRENIC tried to choke a female jogger he thought was ex-PM David Cameron, a court heard.
Callum McPhee, 29, was on a skateboard, dressed in a blue wig and women’s tights, and carrying a sex toy when he attacked.
His victim Natalie Bennett, 30, played dead until he let her go near Caversham, Berks.
She said in a victim statement: “I couldn’t scream for help, I couldn’t breathe. I was desperately trying to pull at his arms and get away.”
He told police that he thought Ms Bennett was Mr Cameron.
McPhee, of Kidmore End, Oxon, admitted attempted GBH.
He was given an indefinite hospital order at Oxford crown court.
