£43bn in our hoard-robes
OUR wardrobes are rammed full of unworn clothes worth a total of £43billion, reveals a poll.
Women on average have £877 of unused gear and men £597, Privilege Home Insurance found.
Women wear just three out of the average of eight dresses they own and men seven of 11 T-shirts.
Privilege boss Christian Mendes said: “It highlights the growing trend of fast fashion, with many purchasing clothing we don’t get round to wearing.”
