Actor Keith cooks up apology from vandal

MASTERCHEF Keith Allen ACTOR and Celebrity Masterchef contestant Keith Allen has slammed vandals who smashed the window and door of his restaurant.

Allen says his partner, Tamzin Malleson, 44, is “heartbroken” after the diner she opened last year was hit by a spate of vandalism. The incident last Friday involved a window being smashed and a second attack left a door kicked in at The Diner in Stroud, Glos.

The vandals were caught on CCTV and two men, aged 18 and 27, were held on suspicion of criminal damage. They have been released under investigation. Allen, 64, invited them on Facebook to come to the diner and apologise.

In a later post he said one of the vandals did return to say sorry and offer to pay for repairs.

He wrote: “Tamzin said, ‘It was incredible. He was genuinely apologetic’.”
