‘Glide’ man: I am not rude
A MAN claiming to be the paraglider accused of flying low and abusing people over a sedate seafront has dismissed the complaints as “lies”.
Police sought witnesses after reports he had been hostile towards the public in Bexhill, East Sussex.
But a caller identifying himself as “Paul” told LBC Radio host James O’Brien: “I’m a free-flying spirit and I live to fly and fly to live.”
Asked if he was intimidating people, he laughed: “No. I’m just there to fly.”
