Digital and disc Sept 3 Director John Cameron Mitchell (who made Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Shortbus) delivers an oddball music drama, all set against the backdrop of late 70s suburban London.

Hapless hero Enn (Alex Sharp) gatecrashes a party and meets enigmatic Zan (Elle Fanning), who turns out to be an alien sent to Earth to get ready for a strange rite of passage. Add Nicole Kidman as Boadicea to the mix and a splendid cast including Matt Lucas, Ruth Wilson and Stephen Campbell Moore, and you have a one-off to divide opinion.
