Warhammer 40K Inquisitor – Martyr

- BY MATTHEW OSBORN

A top-down RPG set in the world of Games Workshop’s futuristic war games franchise, there’s initially a lot to like about Warhammer 40K Inquisitor – Martyr.

Unfortunately, the story leaves a bit to be desired. It does get bits right here and there, but when the foundations of the game let it down, it is hard to

recommend strongly. The repetitive combat wears thin, and with the gear system taking away from the importance of your stats, the whole thing feels underbaked.

The story had some highlights but without combat I found it hard to want to play the side missions and quests.

The game could be spectacular with changes via updates or an expansion, but right now it slightly misses the mark.
