BEN BARBA’S future is a step closer being resolved as St Helens look to confirm the League Leaders Shield against their local rivals.

Barba (right) is set to join North Queensland, with Saints expected to sign Cowboys’ Lachlan Coote as a replacement.

But Barba will want to lift silverware tonight and follow it with a Grand Final win. Forward Morgan Knowles said: “Wigan will want to stop us but we want to get it against them.”
