Morelos was sent off after two bookings for a petulant, first-half outburst at referee Tobias Stieler, while Flanagan was dismissed on 66 minutes for a second yellow card.

Gers got their precious away goal when Ovie Ejaria struck 10 minutes in, before Dmitri Sysuev levelled for the hosts.
