Return of the ‘90s slip dress

For those of you who weren’t around waaay back then, the satin slip dress was a 90s favourite worn by the likes of Kate Moss, Gwyneth Paltrow, Courtney Love and Winona Ryder.

Kate famously wore a see-through version to the Elite Look of the Year party in 1993, alongside her fellow supermodel Naomi Campbell.

Another memorable slip moment was back in 1996, when Gwyneth Paltrow was dating Brad Pitt.

The actress hit the Oscars’ red carpet wearing a pale pink Calvin Klein number, with Brad on her arm. Those were the days. Fast forward to today and models Abbey Clancy and Karen Elson are just two of the celebs adopting the trend again. The high street is brimming with options.
