SALAH’S EVEN MO-RE DEADLY

-

JURGEN KLOPP has warned the Premier League that Mo Salah is even better than he was last term.

Liverpool striker Salah (below) scored an astonishing 46 goals for club and country but limped out of the Champions League final with shoulder damage and then saw his nation flop at the World Cup.

Yet Klopp says his Egyptian star has bounced back to his best, with two goals in his first three games. “Mo is not thinking about the end of last season,” the German coach said. “It is only ever, ‘Let’s score goals, let’s play football’. And to me he looks like he is in that mood again... only with more confidence because now he knows what he did last season. He’s not a kid any more and he doesn’t expect that everything will be like that all the time. If it is not like that any more, then he will dig deep. He is completely settled.”

Klopp has hinted that he is ready to make changes to the settled XI which won their first three Premier League games when the Reds visit Leicester for the early kick-off today. One likely inclusion will be skipper Jordan Henderson.
