Posh pokes fun at 10yrs of her style
VICTORIA Beckham tries out her trademark pout and some Posh frocks as she celebrates 10 years of her fashion brand.
But the ex-Spice Girl, 44, has her tongue firmly in cheek during the spoof video for Vogue.
She made the mini-mockumentary to plug an interview in the magazine’s latest issue.
And instead of talking about the anniversary of her clothes line, the pop star turned designer pokes fun at her image.
She slips into a black latex catsuit and killer heels in tribute to the outfit she wore in the Spice Girl’s 1996 video for Say You’ll Be There, when she first caught future husband David’s eye.
Posh also adopts the leg-in-theair pose that a host of celebrities copied and mocked on Instagram.
In another scene she appears in a monogrammed silk bathrobe with a towel around her head. She deadpans: “Today we are here at Vogue shooting a cover story celebrating the rich and inspiring history of one of the most enduring style icons of all time. Me. Victoria Beckham.” Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful plays along, looking shocked as Victoria insists on wearing her iconic outfits. She uses Spice Girls lyrics to tell him what she really, really wants, adding: “Edward, I’m giving you everything, all that joy can bring.” The star wears a classic Posh Spice little black dress and gives her trademark peace sign salute. She also poses in her 1999 Vivienne Westwood wedding gown, a silver dress from the Spice Girls’ final tour 10 years ago, and a 2005 Roberto Cavalli red-carpet frock. In the final shot, Victoria asks if the sound is picking up as she had bad experiences before with mics. She says: “They were always turned down so low, so you couldn’t really hear me.”
