ANDY MURRAY will miss this month’s Davis Cup tie in Glasgow to concentrate on his rehabilitation.

And British No.1 Kyle Edmund will also skip the World Cup play-off against Uzbekistan as he aims to get back to full fitness.

Team captain Leon Smith, who said Murray (left) was desperate to play in what could be his last competitive match in Scotland, added: “After what Andy has gone through it’s clear he has to listen to the team around him and that has to be his priority. He’s made good progress but he’s missed so much tennis.”
