Mini treasure 35yrs in barn
A 1963 Mini Cooper S Mark I, the sixth of just 4,000 made, has been found after being locked in a barn for 35 years.
Collector Bob Long, 65, unearthed the classic, the model that won the 1964 Monte Carlo rally, after posting an ad.
Bob, of Bungay, Suffolk, said: “The feeling is like the guy who found Tutankhamun’s treasure.”
He valued it at £50,000 in its current state but plans to have it restored.
