Rhinos chief: Don’t rush into change
LEEDS RHINOS chief Gary Hetherington has warned the sport against rushing into a change of structure.
An emergency general meeting is being held on September 14 to decide the game’s format for next year.
Leeds are the only Super League club publicly opposed to scrapping the current Super 8s.
And Hetherington believes the proposal is being pushed through in haste. He said: “It should take account of league structure, promotion, relegation and financial distribution.”
