WEIGHT IS OVER FOR LEEDS

-

LEEDS defender Pontus Jansson has given up drinking as he adapts to the demands of new boss Marcelo Bielsa. Jansson says that laying off the beer has seen him lose four kilos – about eight pounds. Argentine coach Bielsa is strict about the condition of his Championship leaders and Jansson added: “I’ve lost a lot of body fat for him. You are weighed every morning and if you are not right, you’ll hear it.” Jansson, preparing to play for Sweden this week, said: “It is an incredible difference to be as big as I am and lose these kilos. “It means the most that I removed the alcohol. I used to have a beer after matches – to enjoy a little. I’ve taken that away.”
