MOUR FAITH FUELS NEW RED DALOT

DIOGO DALOT says he is ready to start repaying Jose Mourinho’s faith in him.

Dalot (below) has finally recovered from the knee injury he suffered before he joined Manchester United in a £19million deal in June. The Portuguese star, 19, who was hailed as the “best young fullback in Europe” by Mourinho, hopes to make his United debut after the international break. And he is keen to start paying Mourinho back for buying him when he had only made a handful of appearances for Porto.

“If the manager thinks I am ready and he wants me to play, I will ready to play, for sure,” claimed the Portugal Under-21 defender.

“He believes in me and that‘s most important. I’m hoping to repay that.”
