Blades’ relegation will forever be associated with Carlos Tevez. The Argentinian (above) scored for West Ham in the final-day 1-0 win over Manchester United that sent Warnock’s side down.

It later turned out that Tevez’s contract should have been invalid due to third-party ownership. The Hammers were fined but it was too late to save the Blades, and Warnock, who resigned to take some time out of football.
