I was saved just 6 hours from death
A GRAN given six hours to live after liver failure was saved by a “miracle” donor.
Nina Jaggers had two heart attacks after being put in a coma when her organs began to pack up.
She said: “Finding a liver within 24 hours is unheard of... by the time my daughters were told, I had about six hours left.”
Now back home after her op, she added: “I feel like an old rusty Ford Anglia but now it’s got a brand new Porsche engine.”
Nina, 54, was admitted to hospital in April after her failing liver turned her skin so yellow she “looked like Marge Simpson”.
She now hopes to find her donor’s family to say thanks. Nina, of Harlow, Essex, said: “I’m so grateful I was given this chance.”
