Builders’ tea for 6 months

BUILDERS spend two years scoffing lunch and six months making tea over their working lives.

They also spend an average two years and nine months chatting to clients and two years, six months stocking up on materials.

The figures are from a Federation of Master Builders survey of more than 3,000 workers.

The industry body said of all the activities filling a builder’s day, making tea is “bottom of the list”.
