Doc ‘fondled mum during consultation’
A SENIOR gynaecologist kissed and touched the breast of a financier’s wife and suggested an affair, a tribunal has been told.
Obstetrician Tony Boret, 53, had a flirtatious friendship with the mum of two after she fought to stop the closure of the private maternity service at Watford General Hospital.
In a consultation Boret confessed to cheating on his wife before kissing and fondling the woman, and suggesting they “make love”, it was claimed.
The patient, 38, fled but emailed him, saying: “I do not want to be married to my husband anymore. I hope to see you again. I miss being your patient.”
He denies misconduct. The Medical Practitioners Tribunal in Manchester continues.
