Head acts to ban mobiles

PUPILS have been banned from using smartphones for gaming and social media over fears they were becoming addicted.

Poole Grammar, Dorset, found in a poll they used them before school, at break, lunch, going home and most of the evening.

Deputy head Keith McDonald said the findings were “a major worry”.
