Ramos: Threats no joke..

- BY DARREN LEWIS BY JAMES NURSEY

SERGIO RAMOS has claimed he received death threats after Mo Salah’s injury in the Champions League final.

The Spain and Real Madrid captain was booed at Wembley because of his tangle with Salah, which led to the Liverpool star being forced off and Real going on to win the May final.

Ramos (above) said: “One tries to evade the boos. In the end you feel it, but it doesn’t affect my game.

“I would have liked another reception because nobody remembers the death threats my family and children received.

“It is a very sensitive issue that people maybe take as a joke.” HARRY MAGUIRE has signed a bumper new £20million Leicester deal after Manchester United failed to land him.

The defender, 25, (above) has a new five-year contract at the King Power with pay up from £45,000a-week to £80,000.

It is reward for the centre-back’s superb form since joining from Hull last summer in a £17m steal.

His World Cup feats pushed Reds boss Jose Mourinho to bid for him.

Maguire said: “Ever since I came to this club, I’ve always said how good they’ve been to me.

“I owe them a lot and I’m looking forward to the future.”
