CAREY HAS NO FEAR OF DROP

PLYMOUTH midfielder Graham Carey admits he deserved to be dropped this season.

Carey was restored to the starting line-up for League One’s bottom side as they played out a goalless draw with fellow strugglers Bristol Rovers.

He said afterwards: “When I’m not playing well, I’m probably the hardest critic of myself.

“You can’t take all the plaudits and then when you get criticised, moan about it. You have just got to take it on the chin.”

Rovers boss Darrell Clarke said: “My strikers need goals – we know that and they will come.”
