STUART McCALL says too many of his Scunthorpe players are underperforming.

The new Iron boss said: “There are certain players who know themselves there’s more to come from them.

“They’re maybe lacking a little bit of confidence.

“It’s not a case of berating them, we need to learn from our mistakes, show a little more composure.”

Lee Novak, Ryan Colclough and Charlie Goode were on target for Scunthorpe with an Oliver Rathbone double and Matt Gillam replying for Rochdale.
