I totally agree with your reply to the woman whose marriage has hit the rocks after just two years of living together (Dear Coleen, Sept 3).

You were spot on when you said that moving in together can be a wake-up call. I found out lots of things about my partner (and myself) when we had to share the same space.

It didn’t split us up, but we had to set some house rules and learned to compromise pretty fast! Hayley, via email
