This is a photo of my husband Bill Dillnutt and his brother Fred meeting up in Singapore on leave during the Second World War. My brother-in-law was in the Navy and served on HMS Hood.

Luckily, Fred was in hospital ashore in 1941 because when HMS Hood left port on its last journey, the ship was sunk with just three survivors.
