SAMMUT GIVES BRONCOS KICK
London Broncos 34 Toulouse 8 JARROD SAMMUT helped put London Broncos back into Million Pound Game contention with a vital win over their Championship rivals.
The veteran half-back kicked seven goals from eight attempts to move Broncos back up to fifth in the Qualifiers table.
They are now locked in a three-way tie on four points with opponents Toulouse and Toronto, with three matches left to play.
Coach Danny Ward said: “It was must-win for us. We always try and play it down and take the pressure off, but there was no skirting around it.”
James Cunningham, Kieran Dixon and Alex Walker (2) all touched down for Broncos against Arthur Romano’s solitary response.
A breakaway Ben Hellewell score sealed the win, before Stan Robin grabbed a Toulouse consolation.
