Russian step up for bold Terry

-

IF John Terry thinks he’s going to Russia for a holiday after signing for Spartak Moscow then he’d better think again.

My old mate Savo Milosevic played in Spain, Italy, England and Russia and he said the Russian league was the most physically difficult of them all. And if JT (left) does go on to become a manager, then in five or six years I wouldn’t be surprised to hear him saying, ‘You know where I did most of my learning? Russia.

‘Yes, I learned plenty at Chelsea, where I was boy to man, and yes, at Aston Villa, where we had the disappointment of the play-off final.

‘But that year in Russia I learned how to coach, train, prepare myself, be an ambassador for England, eat different foods and learn a new language’. Fair play to him for taking that chance.
