Dove soap maker Unilever has come clean about when it plans to ditch its London HQ.

The industry giant owner of Marmite and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream plans to have just one legal base in Rotterdam from December, if approved by shareholders next month.

The move, while politically controversial, will also likely see it drop out of Britain’s FTSE 100, which could force UK funds that track the index to sell shares in the firm.
