Bridge attack Aysha seconds from death

TERROR victim Aysha Frade walks along Westminster Bridge texting on her phone just seconds before she was hit and killed by driver Khalid Masood.

CCTV images of the 43-year-old mum’s final moments were shown at the inquest into the five people who died in the terror attack last year.

Aysha was on her way to pick up her children from school when Masood, 52, ploughed into her. She was flipped under a bus, which crushed her head. Detective Constable Simon Osland told the inquest at the Old Bailey that Aysha clearly had no idea a car was approaching.

He added: “She was completely unaware.” A pathologist concluded the Spanish teacher’s death would have been “instantaneous and without suffering”.

The inquest continues.
