Debt woe of young adults

SEVEN in ten under-34s regularly borrow money to pay bills, a survey shows.

One third use a credit card, higher than any other group, the poll of 10,000 by financial firm Neyber said.

It warned: “If we don’t act now, we will see young people spiralling into debt they’re unable to repay.”
