DRAMA
W, 8pm
GP services are in crisis – we need more face time with doctors. So in a supreme superhero effort, Dr Christian (no, he doesn’t even require a last name any more) is travelling the UK to bring medicine to the people.
“Two doctors, 10 cities, 12 hours,” says Dr Christian, who is accompanied by Dr Sara Kayat. They want to do as many house calls as they can in 12 hours. It’s a bit like an Anneka Rice challenge – if only they wore yellow jumpsuits.
First they are in Carlisle, where Christian treats a woman suffering from mysterious blind spots. They’re in her garden and it’s sunny, so already this GP appointment is going better than usual. Also he hasn’t Googled anything or kicked her out after seven minutes.
Meanwhile, Sara is drinking tea with a woman with foot sores. She admits her husband uses an electric sander on her feet.
Part Embarrassing Bodies, part fly-on-a-GP’s wall, expect the usual Dr Christian fare.
