-

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is Britain’s best selling plug-in hybrid car and it’s being upgraded with a facelift including minor cosmetic surgery to both ends and, more importantly, the installation of a higher capacity battery (now 13.8kWh). The rear electric motor output is increased too.

The suspension and chassis have been tweaked with the fitment of a quicker steering rack, plus re-calibrated dampers for a more comfortable ride, and bigger brakes.

Prices start at £34,255 for the entry-level Juro, which includes the Government’s £2,500 plug-in grant. The top of the range 5hs comes in at £43,100.
